Hey, I just wanted to let know that the Buy/Watch marker is not working properly on stocks that you have not purchased. They do work on stocks that you do own. Here is a picture for reference http://puu.sh/p48EC/2ae97cdda7.png
As you can see, the buy/watch price should be 77$ and not 79$
– 1 additional feature I would like to have would be “Purchased Dividend Price”. It would tell you percent dividend so when dividends increase, your dividends % increase. It would be perfect for dividend growth investors as well as retire’s who bought stocks 30 years ago.
Thanks for the feedback. I wasn’t able to see where the buy/watch price should be in that image, only where it is. Why should it be at $77?
You can try the “BuyValYield” column or the “YOC” column to get the dividend yields you’re looking for.
Hi, I’m replying back to the buy/watch price being incorrect in patch 4.0.8 and patch 4.0.9
In my earlier post, the green candle was at a buy price of 77$, however, the the chart said it was at 79$ which is incorrect.
Here is my 2nd example with patch 4.0.9, The stock price is ABC with a last price of 74.030. Since that is the current price, that should be the buy price. However, on the chart, the buy price says it is 85.880 which is incorrect. I want to clear about this issue because the problem is only with using a watchlist in stock you have not purchased yet. Once you purchase the stock, the buy/watch price is correct. Here is the image for the second chart http://puu.sh/p8a0w/d568a7e378.png
Hi. For items in a Watchlist, the “buy/watch” price line in the chart is set according to the value of the “Watch Start” column. I suggest you add this column to your watchlist to see what the values are for your items. For ABC, the “Watch Start” column will show 85.88; and your eariler example will show 77.
Please update to v4.0.9 which fixes this issue. Thanks.
