StockMarketEye for iOS v1.3.0 Released

Posted on Saturday, Nov. 15th 2014

We are proud to announce that a new version of StockMarketEye for iOS is now available on the App Store.

Version 1.3.0 sports the new iOS 7/8 flat look. It works the same as the previous version, but has a different look-and-feel to it. We think you’ll appreciate how it blends in with other iOS 7 applications. We’ve also added support for the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6plus.

This version also improves the news article reading experience. The new version of StockMarketEye for iOS will open articles in Chrome or Safari, rather than using a built-in browser. We recommend installing Chrome (it’s free) as it makes returning to StockMarketEye when you’re done reading much easier.

You can now also choose which tab you’d like to start on. In the old version, you would always start on the Watchlists tab. Now you can choose between the Watchlists, Portfolios or Synchronization tab.

Below is a complete list of changes and fixes in this version of StockMarketEye for iOS v1.3.0.

  • Went to iTunes store and got a message saying there was no app called StockMarketEye…..

  • Search for “stockmarketeye”. If you’re on an iPhone, you should see it right away. If you are on an iPad, you should switch from “iPad Only” apps (in the top bar of the search screen) to “iPhone Only” apps.

  • In iOS when booting the app, my quotes will not automatically refresh. All my equities list “N/A”. I have to go one at a time and refresh them. Any idea how to solve this?

  • There was a change at Yahoo Finance and it broke the quotes in StockMarketEye for iOS. I’ve corrected for it now and sent an updated version of the iOS app to Apple for review. Once they have reviewed, accepted and release it, the app will start working with the quotes again. Should be available later this week.

  • This and the windows versions are an excellent product, I’ve been using for years. Any plans for an iPad version with the similar charting as windows version?

  • Yes, an enhanced iPad version is on the to-do list, but we’ve got some big things planned for the desktop version first.
